Construction cleaning

Builders cleans and after-build cleaning.

Cleaning during and after building work for contractors, developers and homeowners, planned around your handover date.

Stages

Construction cleaning stages

Building dust gets everywhere and keeps settling for days afterwards, so most jobs need more than one clean. We can do one stage or all three.

  1. Stage 1

    Rough clean

Done during or straight after the main works so the next trades can get on.

    • Rubbish, offcuts and packaging cleared
    • Heavy dust hoovered from floors and surfaces
    • Work areas left safe and clear
  2. Stage 2

    Sparkle clean

The detailed final clean before handover.

    • Fine dust removed from all surfaces
    • Windows, frames and sills cleaned
    • Kitchens, bathrooms and toilets cleaned
    • Protective film and labels removed
  3. Stage 3

    Touch-up clean

A last clean just before the keys are handed over or people move in.

    • Dust and marks from snagging cleaned
    • Floors cleaned again after the last trades
    • Ready for viewings

Homeowners

If you've had an extension, a new kitchen or a loft conversion, we'll clean up the dust and mess the builders leave behind.

FAQs

Construction cleaning questions

What is a builders clean?

A builders clean, also called a post-construction clean, removes the dust, rubbish and residue left after building or renovation work, so the property is ready to use or hand over.

What's the difference between a rough clean and a sparkle clean?

A rough clean is done during or just after the main works. It clears rubbish and heavy dust so other trades can carry on. A sparkle clean is the detailed final clean before handover.

Do you work with contractors and developers?

Yes. We work with site managers on projects of different sizes, as well as with homeowners after extensions and renovations.

Can you remove paint, plaster and adhesive?

Yes. We use methods suited to each surface so glass, frames, floors and fittings aren't damaged.

How soon can you start?

Send us your handover date and we'll let you know when we can fit you in. We can sometimes take on short-notice jobs if a programme changes.
